Clouds on a Day

Clouds can block the sun’s rays for awhile, but, not for long.

Clouds can darken a day for a moment, but, not forever.

Clouds can bring rain, but, the rain would not last a lifetime.

Clouds can cover a specific place, but, not the entire earth.

Up above the clouds, the sun is still shining. The sky is still blue.

Every time I saw clouds, the kind of clouds that block the sun’s rays, I imagine that God’s angels and Satan’s demons are fighting in the spiritual world. They are fighting over a person’s soul. For awhile it may look like that the demons are winning, for they are able to create temporary darkness. However, darkness does not last for long.  The sun will always be out soon.

No matter how black the clouds are, no matter how they spread across the sky to cover the sun, they would not change the fact that the sun is the sun. They will never be able to change the sun. The sun will always shine its light. The sun will always be the sun.

As for the fighting angels and demons, it is up to the human soul to decide which side will win. However, God is still God, no matter what. He will shine His light and truth whatever the circumstance is. As no darkness can hide against the sun, so, is no one can hide against a conscience. (Unless, of course, if the person's conscience is dead.)
