Servants, Friends, Children

Jesus taught that Christians should be like servants, friends, and children to God. How possible it that?

• in regards to obeying God's commands be a servant - Luke 17:7-10 
• in regards to relationship with God and knowing his will be a friend - John 15:15
• in regards to asking for and using God's gifts and riches be a child - Luke 15:31

Isaiah 51:15-16 /

In obeying God's commands there is no reason to get the glory due him. In dealing with God's enemies, there is no reason to fear. In asking for God's provision, protection, and guidance, there is no reason to doubt.

In addition, just get a powerful reminder out of today's preaching from Pastor Jaylord of Victory-Novaliches on the topic of NON-RETALIATION (Matthew 5:38-42) : 

• (paraphrased) evil people are just looking for reasons to hurt you, so, don't give them any reason to do so, overcome evil with good; but, as followers of Jesus, you had the wisdom to discern when to resist evil people

So, today I renounce all the ways in the past I had paid back insult with insult and how I hated all the people I had helped or been patient with, but, due to their twisted mindset and evil hearts had paid evil for good. Today, I acknowledge and repent of my own hypocrisy and embrace the ways of Jesus in dealing with people who oppose him.

so today Father God, let all who take refuge in you be glad and be joyful. You are a strong tower, a just and merciful judge. You see every heart and mind. You protected all of your children from the evil one and from their enemies. Let all who take refuge in you be satisfied in knowing You are God. 

Father God, may all who read this blog with clouded minds and perverted hearts be set free from the lies of the enemy. May they come to know Your will for their lives. For I am only one of Your mouthpiece and I am not writing for them. I am writing for You. 

Father God may all those people who oppose You will be convicted of their rebellion. May all those who seek You, find You. May all those who ask for You, receive You. May all those who knock at Your Kingdom, enter Your Kingdom. For all who seek or ask for You, or knock at the door of Your Kingdom, You have already called by their names. In Jesus name, this I pray.
