Borrowed Faith on Dark Times

Matthew 25:1-13 reminds all of us (Christians) NOT to anchor our personal faith (during dark times) to someone else's faith.

The oil in someone's lamp is only enough for that person to go through the darkest of night. Nobody among the 10 virgins knew when the Bridegroom will arrive, but, the wise virgins brought enough oil for their lamps.

The Christian life is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you are anchoring your faith to someone else obedience, you are like the foolish virgins who did not bring enough oil for their lamps. Same thing when you declare a blessing, draw from your own account - draw from your own faith.

For the anointed ones of God, there is no short cut to obedience. Keep the faith and move forward. and remember many are called, but, few are chosen.
