Interconnection

Our lives are more interconnected than we ever imagine and just like how the whole body suffers when one part is ill, so, are we.

The obedience of one will pave the way for the obedience of others. The suffering of one will eventually affect others in the long run. 

Do you reject a body part when it is wounded or ill? Say, your toe, do you cut it off when its wounded? NO. You bandage it and take care of it until it is healed. 

No part of the body is dispensable. Unless, that truth is put into heart, there is a danger you will reject or hate the weak part or the one that always causes you trouble. The moment you reject even the smallest part of your body, you are acting against your whole body.

Jesus labors to bring His entire body to unity. Unity can happen via projecting unity or laboring towards unity. However, what Jesus wants is unity via His love and truth. 

The moment His body parts are practicing His love and obeying His truth, unity will simply follow. Its the kind of unity that only His Holy Spirit can bring.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, your indifference towards your suffering brethen is a sign that you have wandered away from His love and truth. And mind this, He can always raise up someone else to help them, but, you, if you continue that way, He will cut you off the vine. Take heed of His warning while you still had time.
