I have been longing to have new pets and the puppies I would like to adopt are not yet given to me. Now, my Tatay got these ducks and it got ducklings. Jokingly, I told my nephew to catch the little one as I would train it to be like a puppy. He did catch it and we put a plastic tag on its foot to differentiate it from other ducklings. I called the duckling Marimar, though I dont know if it was a he or she. We even joked we will take Marimar with us when we jog every morning. (I'm definitely sane just an adult having kid's fun. 😆)
Just want readers to have a good laugh before the real heavy blow comes along.
-------
In the Book of Jeremiah, God was accusing His very own people for having uncircumcised hearts.
Hearts who are cold toward Him, but, were too 'hot' for other stuff. Whatever stuff that is, I don't care basta it was not God.
It seemed like His people just love saying this or doing that, no longer out of love for Him, but out of religiosity or out of duty or out of popularity or out of what they can get from Him.
What they don't understand is that 'God can never be mocked' and 'He is justice'. So, even if they (people of Jeremiah's time) were quite enjoying prosperity and growth, and they hated Jeremiah for preaching about the coming destruction because of their sins, they did reap what they sow.
I just realized how merciful God is even if He is justice. He sent His prophets (e.g.Jeremiah, Isaiah, etc.) to His people ahead of His planned destruction. Why? To circumcise their hearts - to encourage them to repent and return to Him. As circumcision of the flesh is a personal decision, so, is the circumcision of the heart.
So, boast no more mighty man, and understand what the LORD wants.
