The Beauty of Waiting

Haste had cause many of us to get ahead of God, when we should be waiting for His timing.

The haste of getting materially rich had caused many of us to be caught up in the tangle of many lies.

The haste for physical satisfaction had caused many of us to lose the chance to be with the man/woman of our dreams when he/she comes along.

Actually, the haste for anything causes anyone to lose the beauty of waiting on God.

There is so much beauty in waiting on God.

It sorts out everything - your own intentions and the intentions of others. It explores the deepest concerns of your soul. It exposes the hidden agenda of others. It prevents you from sowing whirlwind or reaping a storm. It removes unnecessary stuff.

Waiting on God is the most beautiful season of all. It gives you the appetite for the things of God.

After a season of waiting (painful for some, joyful for others) you will be amazed on what kind of stuff God have spared you from.

Isaiah 50:10-11
