Jesus Don'ts - Part I

In any culture or institution - there will always be "DO's" and "DON'Ts". Basically, we people have no problem with the "DO'S. It's the "DON'Ts" most people have trouble with.

A rebellious (proud) one would say: Rules! Rules!! Rules!!! Why there are rules anyway?

An abiding one would ask : Why there are people who break the rules? Why can't they obey?

"Don'ts" are really meant to create order. The fact is - our world is already chaotic with so many laws and  rules that say don't do this and don't do that. How much more if without it? People would do as they please whenever or wherever they want it. Could you imagine it?

God in His kindness and patience orchestrated laws/rules to guide us all. I would not argue to the ones who do not believe there is a God, but
to those who believe that there is a God and that His Son is Jesus Christ, then below reminders  are for us.

Jesus reminds us that we have to walk our talk. Our personal relationship with God should not equate to fulfilling religious duties or spending more time in churches. It must be something internal. Hypocrisy in Christians happens when a believer tries to please men instead of God. None of us are immune to hypocrisy, but we have the choice to choose whom we please. SO, do not be a hypocrite.

Jesus is the ultimate example of a carefree life. I mean, a worry-free life. Why worry when your worrying cannot solve your problem? If you continue to serve God and do not waver on your faith in His love, then let Him take your worries away. Miracles had happened before and is still happening today, but the proud of heart and the pre-occupied mind would not have the eyes to see it. Save yourself some self-inflicted pain. SO, do not worry.
