Acts 7:54-60

"Lord, (Father, forgive them), do not hold this sin against them."

Why is it important that Stephen should say that before he died? 

Read Isaiah 41:11-16

Stephen had followed Jesus' example when he forgave those who crucify him AND if Stephen did not forgive them the Father would strike them down by His very own hand.
