Separation of Government and Church

Ever wonder why there should be separation between the affairs of the government and the affairs of the church? Government leaders were actually given the grace to govern the nation's affairs; church leaders were given the grace to point all people to worship GOD and GOD alone.

Research what verses in the Bible talk about:

• Saul and Samuel
• Herod and John the Baptist

Both leaders (Saul and Herod) are influencers. Once a government leader sought the endorsement of a denomination, the church leaders better think many times. Take the lesson out of Saul and Herod's lives. Both leaders wanted the approval of their corresponding prophet. For what, read for your own and know that both leaders have hearts that are very far from GOD.
