Gluttony, Greed, and Anything Related to Them

I have always dreamed of becoming a great writer. Yet, I hated the crappy write ups. I mean anything not based on truths and real emotions. You may wonder, I got 'many' emoticons on some of my write ups. I think I am not yet as good enough writer, I cannot yet convey the emotions I am trying to convey. Man, I thank whoever invented emoticons. [There are living people who are like zoombies, they become so numbed, they can't feel real emotions.] So, it is my wish to entertain whoever  (Christian) reading this blog, but, my prayer really is that the Holy Spirit will help you understand and apply the underlying truths, so, your spirit can live in freedom and with the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Awhile ago I was ordering my lunch, I’m pretty confused what to eat. I was craving for a crispy fried chicken, but, when I saw the yummy burger I wanted it too. While on the line I was contemplating what to eat. (Yeah, I could eat both, that would be gluttony. Poor beautiful body of mine, it would receive more crappy food than it was originally designed for.) I guess, God is simply that amazing, He knows what I’m craving for, and so,  the burgers were not yet available. My choice was narrowed down to what I really craved for in the first place. It reminded me that if I let my eyes wander on the good stuff this world can offer (coz the world had pretty good marketing agents), I might missed out on having the things that I am really built for. However, God is just that amazing (and will always be amazing) by getting what I don’t really need/want out of the equation. (I don’t really want a burger, I was simply enticed by its luscious appeal.) I don’t know for you, but, maybe, you have an incident something similar with choosing between a crispy fried chicken or yummy burger. And if you think I am talking about more than food, it is time for you to ask God to heal your eyes or take out of your life the remaining ‘marketing agents’ of the world.

Mark 3:35 NIV (Jesus said) " Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother.

LORD JESUS, it is my prayer to You that whoever maybe reading this blog will come to the knowledge that YOU are the only way to the Father, and YOU are the only ONE we all need in this fallen world. Reveal Yourself to Your flock in ways they have not known before. For the glory of our Father in heaven and in Your Name. Amen.
