Every Battle Starts In The Mind

Flies are attracted to rotten things. So, are negative thoughts and emotions to rotten ideas. So, do not wonder if negative thoughts multiply when you have all those rotten ideas inside of you. Sometimes, these ideas do not come from inside us, but, were suggested by another or by a picture or a news or an ad or a show that we have seen. Who or what we allow to influence us play a major part in our thought patterns. I just wish and pray 'the who' is not a person who had become an idol. That idol can never help you in your battle.

Do you know that every battle starts in the mind? If we can capture each thought and determine if is rotten or not, then, we could wisely choose our battles. There are battles not even worth thinking about, and there are battles worth every ounce of our strength. We cannot focus our strength to the battles worth fighting if our minds are occupied of all the unnecessary stuff.

I got this faith that all children of God will eventually learn to discern which battles are worth their attention and which battles to avoid. Besides, God will always lead his children home to Himself.

As a child of God: Are you home or have you ran away from his gracious love? Well, even if you ran away, surely and surely God will pursue you. Home or wandering, whatever battle you are facing now, I pray you will invite God in and let him give you the wisdom and strength to overcome it. (Psalm 139)

As for those who are not sure if they are really children of God, would you not want to become one? Why worship no-gods when they enslave you? Slowly but surely they will destroy anything and everything important to you? Well, it's your life, why should you listen to a stranger. (Isaiah 6:9-10)
